Gratitude is a game changer! Based on some expert advice of hundreds of truly happy and successful people in the book Game Changers, incorporating a daily ritual that includes a gratitude exercise will transform your day and ultimately transform your life in a positive and productive way.
Research also shows daily gratitude can influence your health in a positive way. Whether you’re trying to lose weight, lower your blood pressure, sleep better, or just feel better, being thankful will help.
Take 3 minutes each day to think of 3 things you are grateful for. They can be simple or complex, and can be people, places, or things.
For my gratitude exercise today, I listened to this song by Alicia Keys, closed my eyes, and let the emotions flow into my heart and beautiful memories pass through my mind.
I am so thankful and grateful for the precious time I get to spend with God, my wife, my kids, my family, my friends, my health coaching clients, my trusted advisors, and my TrYumph staff and community.
If you can make the time (and it is so worth it), capture some quiet space and listen to this song, eyes closed, then reflect on the emotions that flow. And then here is the big step, let those you are grateful for know it.
If this helps you in any way, I am grateful for this opportunity to serve!
